Do I have to remind you that Jon Bon Jovi had quite the solo career sounding just as good if not better than he does now, the guy could hire 12 monkeys on the street and still sound fantastic, the rest of the band is nothing but for show.

Jon Bon Jovi didn't have 'quite the solo career' at all; he had one fairly successful album riding the coat tails of a film that did well that year and another album that passed by pretty anonymously worldwide. The rest of the band is nothing but for show?! Richie Sambora co-writes most of the material they put out and every major hit, bar Always. I think you could do with a bit of research behind you before you start throwing about such ridiculous statements.

Jon Bon Jovi is the only name on their record deal, he hired the rest of the band and reign superior king of all decisions made in that band.

Hey , you're totally right about the record deal and decisions stuff...but you honest believe that BON JOvI would be the same without Richie, Tico and Dave ??I doubt it...just listen to Jon's solo records and you can see the difference, don't sound like the s band at all! and if you've been a fan for so long in my oinion you should show more respect for the people that JOn's choose to make the greatest rockn' roll band ever, Here a fan for the last 22 years and counting..

I'm fully aware of how the contract works. If you can honestly say you think this band would be remotely as good without the other band members, however, then you're obviously deluded. Take out Richie and replace him with Bobby Bandiera and see if you'd have had LOAP, YGLABN, IML and even a fraction of the intensity of their live performance.

i totally agree. Sambora is an indespensible part of the package, wether its Jons band or not. Tico and Dave r important yeah, but taking away richie is like taking away 40% of the magic if you will...it annoys me how people fail to see his contribution

first of all, bon jovi isnt bon jovi if richie,david,and tico is not there. john didnt
write the music all by himself. all of their songs involve richie and dave. could you imagine john singing songs like livin' on a prayer, runaway, ect, without them. i dont think it would sound so good. so its very ridiculous that some people think the rest of the band is for show.
