I did this and it works great, i sat on the first one so i had to make another. I'm currently trying to modify it to have a hole in the bottom for a USB cable to fit in.

everyone go to your nearest brookstone store or look it up on the internet but they have these glasses that all you have to do is plug your ipod into them and you can see the movie playing they have 32in 44in and 56in display glasses go check em out i got a pair and i swear its better than HD they run anywhere from $120 to $200 dollars

Dude,
You are a genius! I made one and shaved off a 1/4 inch of the inside of the stand so the viewing angle was better. It leave a small gap, but the head phones stay inside when closed.
