To confirm this you have only to read the newspaper. I remind you that many atrocities and wars throughout history can be directly linked to religion. That isn't a contradiction, its a blatent act of ignorance on the part of the Crusaders, the integrity of the fundamental Biblical law that you should not kill another human and the Bible itself in this case remains.
