Slipknot is "that band" everyone knows. Kinda like Linkin Park. Everyone has their phase with them, and moves on. I personally had mine when I was 11 or 12, and around 15 or 16, I moved on.
I personally see Slipknot as a poser band, I see it now as I watch my brother fall into listening to them, and hes just the typical lame ass trying to be accepted into a group of people.
I dont think I like CoB, I've now listened to 2 songs and am unimpressed. Anyone recommend 1?

I can agree on the "phase" part, but it isthanks t Slipknot I got into metal from the beginning, true a was a fan of meatloaf but thanks to them I'm listening to really good metal. So stop hating, you liked them once, can't start to hate after, thats posing. Because whatever you guys say. I wasn't too crazy about them at first but they grew on me like hell pretty quick. Try "Punch Me I Bleed". And yeah, sometimes it helps to just listen to a song and not watch the video just so you can absorb the music better.
