Floyd may have covered Richard Berry in the early 60's but See Emily Play was out in 67. Floyd was well into defining their own style and by 1970 they developed and pioneered quadraphonic sound. Hardly a modest attempt to be different. Every experimental group since for the last 40 years fail in comparison. Pink Floyd is Legendary.
