For some of the people asking me how Kimchi was trained. I have to say it wasn't hard. Kimchi lives by herself in her cage so she's always looking for attention. One day I just started giving her scratches behind her head and she turned her head so I assumed she wanted me to scratch the part that was exposed. That's basically it.
Chinchillas that live with other chinchillas get their grooming that way so they don't need people to do it.

Very interesting. Chin's dont usually like too much fuss, largely as their bones are quite delicate, but yours seems to really appreciate the affection. I say keep it up, so long as it is keen. Maybe get another chin if she is a bit lonely?

mY CHINCHILLAS ALWAYS GET SCARED AND RUN AROUND THE CAGE WEN I TRY TO TOUCH THEM. MAYBE IT WILL TAKE TIME, BUT IT'S BEEN LIKE TWO OR THREE WEEKS. AND ONE OF MY CHINCHILLAS HAS NO FINGERS, AND IT'S HANDS ARE LITTLE NUBS.LOL
