BEAM spider bots face off
Uploaded by: purkolator
Video Description:
Here are a couple of BEAM spider bots that I built to give to my dad and uncle for fathers day. The solar cell charges a capacitor to a certain voltage and then triggers a pager motor to jiggle it around a bit. BEAM stands for Biology, Aesthetics, Engineering and Mechanics. Check out Solarbotics.net for more info on BEAM.

They move just right! I would love to own one.
I can't make stuff anymore--bad eyesight and such.
Make to sell?
