thanks myst for helping out my imagination growth as a child :)
Some time later, I tried RealMyst. Let me tell you, RealMyst ROCKS! It's absolutely immersive, you really feel like you are in this other, mysterious dimension with strange machines, and you can move around freely... it's absolutely great!
Here's the answer he got: "I don't know, I played it and... except for the 3D environment, I found no difference. Maybe a hidden Era, but I never found it. Everything is exactly like Myst."
ROTFL! What a noob! I bet that if someone asks him "What's the difference between Megan Fox and the Pope?" he'll reply: "I don't know, except for the gender, I found no difference."
Its great to see older stuff like this posted. I am shocked they didnt use 3D Studio for DOS to make the game, it does have a limited detail that I think 3d Studio would be more realistic.
I used 3DS DOS and AUTOCAD in those days when that game came out and I've nearly forgotten the HORRIBLE time to wait for the PC to DRAW a single wireframe window view. Terrible stone-age days.
Myst rocks! all of them what is there more to say. It just rocks :D
Yeah, guys, don't worry, the puzzles weren't too easy.
The Myst series is a wonderful environmental epic adventure, but I'll always remember it for its infuriating difficulty.
I'm a bit sad they haven't written a 4th and final book.
