no matter what anyone says about Shatner....i feel sorry for the guy in that Nimoy got a part and he didn't....ok his character is dead but you've got to feel sympathy for the guy, him and Nimoy were a team and so it would probably be hurtin to get rejected like that.

Look, JJ is the best thing that could have happened to Star Trek. With shows like Battlestar Galactica, Lost, and Firefly upping the ante on sci-fi, Star Trek was rendered obsolete.

I hated Blair Witch Project because of the shaky cam but I thought Cloverfield did the "shaky cam thing" right but I can understand why ppl thought it was annoying. I thought it was a bad-ass monster flick. JJ did LOST and MI:3 w/ Lindeloff which are both awesome. And They are both working on StarTrek.JJ admitted he wasn't a fan of Trek but that's what Trek needs; a fresh start. Between him and the writers working on this movie, everything looks like it should be.

lol, yeah I was just mad at J.J. then when I wrote that, but I dont know, for some reason when I saw cloverfield I just did not care for the camera work.. I mean I like it yet, physically after a while I got a severe headache.
