At the current exchange rate, 1000L is about 4.09 USD. It's actually kinda cheap, considering most of the good clothes are around 200 to 300L. You can get a damn nice car for 5000L, or stick to walking; which isn't a big deal! Everyone can fly! =P

I've been creating avatars in SL for 5 years, 3D modelling and texturing for over 10 years. I use a professional suite including Maya, Photoshop and Poser. I'm glad you like my work :)
