I don't know who it was but it was either an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh or a Phoenician King who ordered a complete naval exploration to sail around Africa and completed it in 3 years, some time around approximately over 3000 years ago. The ancients had the naval technology to complete explorations over approximately 3000 years ago. I can guaranty you that there is ancient 3000 year old Egyptian or Phoenician ship wrecks off of the Western Coast and South Western Coast of Africa and the Azores.
