A Russian Tank - captured and re-painted by Nazi Germans - was found in a Russian lake and recovered. The engine was still in working order.
From the website: "Germans have driven this tank in lake when fuel was terminated at deviation in 1944. It laid on depth of 12 meters. Above it there were 6 meters of peat and silt. During two weeks divers of club washed away silt above the tank. Any traces of solar oil or oil on water was not. H

| During the Finnish War with the Soviet Union, Finland repaird some of the T-34 and repainted them so they could serve Finland instead. In the repainting they would get the marks like Tanks from Nazi Germany. I think this tank was in the Winter War. |

| that's not from the winter war, cuz the tank looks like a t-34/44, which means it was a design made in the 1943, and mostly used in 1944. Winter war was long over by then. |

| yes it's PAINTED nazi, but it's clearily a captured t-34, which is a soviet tank. read the description, it says so. Also google t-34 and see what it looks like. a german tank wouldnt be designed this way. |

| this tank is a german tank because it was on the show tank restorer and the whole storie was told.unit was attacked by russian planes and rockets the crew tried to cross the frozen river when it fell though then crew destroyed inside of tank so russians would not get it.when it was found it was bought by a man to restore and put in tank museum if i remember she is in england |
