Haha, it's quite funny reading all the Brit v American arguments on this site. As a Brit I'm probably slightly biased towards the UK, but I have no problem with Americans. The few I have met seem pretty cool. There are going to be stupid people (or people that just don't have a good education) in any country. Doesn't mean they represent the whole population.

I don't disagree with you zapkvr. I don't believe there is a single American now that would even admit they voted for him. I think you can see in the American's eyes the regret and have become so involved with this past election. With the new president elect, hopefully there will be a brighter future for us all. But you cannot point the finger at every single American and especially those like myself who have never supported him.

Thta's not the issue at all. The problem with the U.S. system of electing presidents is that it is close to 100% certainty that this is exactly the sort of clown you are likely to get. I will reserve judgement until I see how Ubama Bin Barak acquits himself but let me tell you, I was terribly excited after the wasted Nixon / Ford years that Jimmy Carter had been elected. He at least offered hope the U.S. could reform, and look what a disappointment he turned out to be.
