To people who say that supporting the Conservatives are blind, let me remind you: David Kelly, the Iraq war, WMD, the lies about taxation, the waste of public money,etc. If you support the Labour party you must be very gullible. Look at Blair's arrogance here. This is the guy who is currently touring the world amassing millions of pounds on speaking engagements to pay the mortgages on his three houses. its true that the value of gold has trebled since brown sold the gold, but even so, it has lost the treasury less than
£2bn. While this is a large amount of cash, it pales in comparison to the £318.9bn (thats over 3 trillion pounds) that is UK GDP. its pretty irrelevant.

public debt at highest ever? yes public debt is high, but the public are just as much at fault for that. no-one in their right mind would spend money they dont have, i wouldn't and those who have deserve to be hard up, they have to pay back what they have taken from society. its no skin off my teeth, for those us not in debt, i'm enjoying the bargains to be had in these prolonged sales.
