To prevent mic checks from being boring, the Stage Manager created "Mic Check Challenge" where people pick songs to sing based on certain themes.
Sometimes people really take mic check challenge seriously. I was one of those people. This week's theme was Rogers and Hammerstein. (They own the rights to Footloose.)
