Oh by the way, I'm not sure if you've seen the video in the related videos titled "SAS weapons" obviously hosted by an ex SAS soldier. But the SAS obviously wouldn't be called out to the front line seeing as the SAS are a special forces unit, designed to take down terrorists putting people in direct danger (hostages etc).

Yeah. They are involved in Iraq And Afghanistan aswell though, although that hostage rescue is the speciality.

Listen if your going to say stuff then please make sure you have your facts right. The SAS is a special forces unit and although they do, counter-terrorism operations as you so called hostages. However it is also a well known fact that special forces fight on the front line in war's, including Iraq and Afghanistan. The only part of the SAS that deals with the anti-terrorist stuff is the Counter-Revolutionary- Warfare Wing (CRW). If you want any more, an SAS trooper died last year in Iraq i think

I was merely replying to the comment of sheepiesaurus. Yes they are probably the best trained special forces unit in the world, because of their combat experience. I was merely saying that people think that the SAS are just guys dressed in black jumping through windows, than guys who spend months isolated on their own fighting in some of the toughest conditions in warfare.
