lol... sry for spamming again. I have told Artem8 tat it is impossible to be sinless as 1 Jn 1:8, 2 Cor 12, James 3:2-9 are all against it especially 1 Jn 1:8. There's no contradiction however as Rom 7:7-25 explains it all of what those "sinless" meant.
"Enjoy rotting in the ground kiddies." Implies an eternal life, a life beyond death. That is a start my friend. Jesus said: I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. Have peace in this life, be satisfied where ever you go, receive the FREE gift of eternal
life and know a life you never thought possible. Jesus is the way.
all those verses are the exact verses that say we can't be without sin being perfect even as Christians. The most clear and straight is 1 Jn 1:8 that if we say we do not sin, we're liars. Yes, I finish reading Romans and the whole NT 4 times in fact. If you read the last line of Romans 7 you'll n
oticed that Paul didn't deny the fact that we're still with sin. "So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, BUT in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
all Christians should strive for perfection but you cannot say all Christians are perfect and if not, they aren't Christians or implying so for such you'll stumble many. This also then focus way too much on works rather than Grace of God and is sort of a way in my opinion, stealing the Glory of G
od upon one self's act. The end of Roman 7 is clear that our body is still bounded by sin but our mind is free because of Christ. Read Roman 7:25 again with open mind.
let us see Roman 7:25 with proper English knowledge and you'll know what I meant... "So then" - a continuing sentence in explanation of previous statement of "Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord!" "But" - meaning something opposite. Thus "I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law"
is valid but at the same time "In the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin". Sinful nature = flesh, our physical body. "In my mind" of course is the mind, a separated thing.
"JUST like him" doesn't explain in what ways. So how could you ignore 1 Jn 8 that says "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us"? I'm not saying you should sin to be clear as James 2:14-26 said a "Faith without deeds is dead and useless". If u believe in God
, good, even demons do and shudder but they don't get to be saved. Repentance is important but if u claimed we r to be perfect so we can be freed, then it is false teaching from evil 1.
Are you without sin?
I'm not saying you're a false teacher but your teaching will or may leads to false teaching and instead of edification, you may result many Christians from leaving God because they can't reach perfection as claimed by you and give up hope. Furthermore, your verses in my opinion are taken out of c
ontext and is contradicting many other verses. Such doctrine isn't accepted by many Churches due to that. Love for God should be the focus, not action of perfection.
and 1 serious problem of teaching we can be perfect not only promotes self-glory because of actions and strength of individual to be perfect, it also encourages self-righteousness. When Jesus told the jews with regards to stoning He said "whoever is without sin may cast the first stone". If u cla
im it is possible, then u can cast the first stone. The fact is that Jesus Himself recognized that everyone is with sin. Your mind can be freed but your body can't.
yes, it is possible but definitely NOT by your actions that you should boast about. You're made perfect because of your attitude towards God, your mind in focusing on God wanting to please Him instead of pleasing your own sinful nature. Notice contradiction in ur doctrine? "Perfect once and for a
ll". U assumed we're made perfect because of our actions being perfect and if we still sin, then we're not freed which implies then we're not saved. Made perfect because of Christ, not deed
so since you still sin, you're not freed which contradicts the doctrine that we're freed because we believe in Christ. Then either u didn't believe in Christ or Christ doesn't want to redeem u thus u're not freed. Get my saying of the risk of ur doctrine in stumbling others? We're made perfect n
ot because we're sinless but because of Christ's blood, we're cleansed and made perfect. It isn't by ur actions of being sinless that made u perfect.
and do you know you're teaching Buddhism that we must reach the stage of "Nirvana" to be freed and redeemed? How then is there a need for Christ? John 3:16 said salvation is thru Christ alone. We're separated from God because of sin. Thus if we can by our actions be sinless then there's no need f
or Christ's death. I'll emphasises again, we're made perfect because of Christ alone, not our actions that we should boast. Since u still sin, then probably u're not a Christian?
also, please do not read 1 John 3:9 out of the context of 1 John 1:8. Notice that 1 John 1:8 is all written in present tenses meaning a continuous cycle and not a past. Thus whoever no matter which part of their life said "I have no sin" is a liar. Like what Bryab explained "practice sin" is wat
1 John 3:9 meant. If you presumed it meant literally "no sin", then u have juz condemned all Christians even urself as non-Christian
not borned of God. 1 Jn 3:9 says abt attitude.
