The left hand glove helps reduce friction, especially with sweaty hands. I assume the right hand glove is for better grip on the cue. I use a left hand glove myself and it helps a lot. Don't insult someone who has done so well in the world of pool as Strickland. It just shows your ignorance.

He got 5 U.S Open titles and 3 World Pool Championship titles and i'd say at least 40 other pro titles!! that is just something strickland does. I have seen him play live on many occasions and he has something different every year. One year it was bandaids on all finger tips, the next it was ankle waits. It is just something he does. Doesn't help anything.

If some people don't appreciate the skill and nerves needed to play pool and win major championships why are they watching this video? Glove on right hand is probably for comfort and to keep a dry steady grip on the back of the stick. If you had hit as many shots as Earl had your hands would probably get a little sore. He's definitely not the model of what sportmanship should be but he has for many years been the Arnold Palmer of 8 Ball.

the only men i see here are either fat or anorexic but all of them are ugly. I'm actually a fan of pool and play it regularly but championships, wearing those gay gloves and other excessive items, constantly chalking the cue its all over the top. it looks very fucking gay. god in America everything is a sport i wouldn't be surprise if they had couch-potato tournaments or such.
