I've never heard that they threw her out. I know that she went to college, and sang at a local bar, for beers, and the boys laughed at her. They nominated her "Ugliest Man on Campus", and it humiliated her so bad, she left town, and state. She headed to San Francisco, and well we all know what happened after that.

not that my opinion will matter...BUT SHE IS RIGHT...she wrote it about herself.....she was a very lonely woman...kinda sad to be her and have never found love...I think as women we can all say WE HAVE BEEN THERE...and that many of us ARE STILL THERE!!!!!!
