Lamentablemente giorgiapux, esa ya no es nuestra cultura, todos los aborigenes murieron por que fueron esclavizados y sometidos como muestra la pelicula, los aborigenes que quedan perdieron su propia cultura, sus tierras, sus costumbres.

Trying to work out what part of the orchestral score is causing me feel this strange uprising sense (i feel this with a number of brilliant scores), however, i also keep having images of films popping into my mind. I am sure this soundtrack has influenced The Lion King as i can hear many familar moments.

it certainly might be. The Chariots Of Fire theme was also quite stirring. i think as a film The Mission was lost on me... the soundtrack wasn't though. i love it.

Personalmente,trovo che il film offra una delle più belle e sequenze iniziali della cinematografia. La musica indescrivibile di Ennio su quei paesaggi e la croce trascinata dalla forza dell'acqua è sul serio da pella d'oca.
Ci si commuove anche per la storia VERA, si ammira la bravura degli ATTORI, etc ma l'esordio ti conduce già alle lacrime senza aggiungere altro.
