STATUES & typewriters

Video Description:
STATUES & typewriters is a short film about how computers have slowly taken over humans. The existence of computers have broken apart human accord all over the world.
Inside the elevator, humans are confined yet they are able to travel to various destinations. I view elevator travel as a microcosm of computer usage because the soul of the user in both cases is stagnant and mute. The computer, however, differs in its ability to free the mind through creative forms such as blogs, personals, and photo sharing. These cyberfreedoms will ultimately replace pure and true human interactions because of their addictive ease in finding euphoria from fellow users to feed one anothers cybervanity. In the end, we all will only be known as statues and typewriters.
