the next time you are in yellowstone park, you need to go there, even if its raining, its absolutely worth it. and you can get on top of the hill that is located at the other side of the road, it looks even more amazing from above.
Sure, but well for one thing, it is a bit bizarre in my opinion. Like a group of capitalists counting and exchanging money in public. I mean why, what is the point?
I wouldn't consider single events (e.g. weddings et.c.) a problem, but trivial religious rituals doesn't belong in public parks. Imagine various other religions doing the same, and with scientologists giving a free stress test afterwards.
Actually it is fairly common, church groups, youth groups etc. frequent natl. parks and use the facitlites to conduct services all the time. You know that freedom of assembly thing that many forget about or ignore.
What was bizarre was TF reaction and comment and he obviosly thinks his remarks were in the US con. when they were in a letter.
Just an FYI--If the gov makes a space available to the gen public, it cant discriminate who uses it on the basis of religion, SCOTUS 9-0 decision. Churches often rent space from public schools, in schools which lease out the facilities when term is not in session, because religious discrimination is unconstitutional. So there is religious separation but not religious discrimination.
