Short documentary I made which describes possible links between Michael Jackson's music and Sonic 3.
This Documentary isn't just random comparisons, listen to the start. Roger Hector, who ran SEGA's Technical Institute said Micahel was planned to work on it. We *have* asked SEGA because HE WORKED FOR SEGA! Please take note of this before accusing the documentary of making un-validated claims.
Since this documentary was made, there have been numerous discoveries showing that most of the people featured in the credits list worked with Michael Jackson at some stage.
Also I have had numerous requests for the Who Is It vs Ice Cap mix. The clip is just 21seconds however you can download it here:

I noticed some similarities but I looked up the Sonic 3 release date and some don't match.
Sonic 3 ending credits: Sonic was made in 1994
Micheal Jackson: Stranger in Moscow 1996
It was a coincidence.
Ice Cap and Carnival Zone match up though.

Actually, there is a chance it wasn't coincidence, but that Michael used the beat that had originally been used for the Sonic 3 credits music in Stanger In Moscow

Why do those years mean anything? Just because the song version didn't come first doesn't mean there isn't a link. I put the years in the video for the very purpose of clarity in that respect.

Interesting, I was browsing through some 70s/80s funk tracks last night and I found the original of the intro in the Angel Island theme, so it doesn't surprise me if half the themes have come from other sources.
