... They're not Japanese though, they're Chinese. Even though Japan and China has the same Kanji(Japanese word)/Pinyin(Chinese word).

one, taiwanese, not directly chinese. two, i don't know about the "copy cat" (sounds a bit childish), but be a bit more common-sensical in the professional level and know that there must've been some sort of lawsuit involved if cyndi really did rip off the tune/lyrics/whatever just like that without freaking permission... like someone said, gazillions of songs are translated into other languages if they're liked.
