é Por Ti which gave her the chance to attend the 38th edition of the Festivalbar television event. This latin rock song was very different from the danceable tunes she was associated with. This video is taken from the final night of Festivalbar's 38th edition, broadcasted on September 12th, 2001 on
Mediaset's channel Italia 1. Festivalbar is basically a road show shot and broadcasted in various episode throughout each summer. The final two nights featured many important International artists, and were actually shot the same day but broadcasted one week after the other. The show was hosted by
Daniele Bossari, Alessia Marcuzzi and Natasha Stefanenko. A crowd of no less than 50,000 people can be seen filling the Arena di Verona Roman amphitheatre, in front of which you can see performing Paulina Rubio on vocals, Valerio Troiani on guitar, Diego Magnani (me) on bass, Francesco Carpitella on
synthesizers, Giuseppe "Pepe" Carpitella on drums, Gianni Chelli and Simona Saffioti on backing vocals. I can be seen playing my 2001 Ibanez EDB605 Ergodyne bass.
