Video Description:
On September 11th 2001, BBC World reported at 4:57pm Eastern Time that the Salomon Brothers Building (more commonly known as WTC7 or World Trade Building 7) had collapsed.
This even made the 5pm EST headlines, what is bizarre is that the building did not actually collapse until 5:20pm EST.
9/11 was unusual enough, without BBC World being able to foretell the destiny of WTC 7.
What is even stranger, is that the women reporter is telling the world that the building had collapsed when you can see it in the background over her left shoulder.
Then at 5:15pm EST, just five minutes before the building did actually collapse, her live connection from New York to London mysteriously fails.
So the question is, on 9/11 how did the BBC learn that WTC7 collapsed 23 minutes before it actually did.

These events are certainly suspicious, but it's also not so far-fetched that the BBC (and many other media outlets) made some honest mistakes. I'd like to know, hrgiger, where can I find video/articles showing that this was an honest mistake?

he was asking direct questions specific to wtc 7 while she was answering with vague simple non specific answers to questions about downtown security and emergency services. I think BBC tried to pull a fast one and that your time is fuckered up.

i have got to say this atack was well planed out and exicuted with stelth and cuning.the devostation was huge the death toll considering the implomentation was huge.the atack was a show of corage and sheer bruitalaty.the sheer scale of devostation was mind blowing.if these ppl can do this why is the real reason they are doing so? does the western world really have the right to tell all that this is the way and the only way? do we have the right to rule the world?this was wrong but are we?

i think the only way to resolve this problem is to have a world wide debate on not just this but all world wide problems. but not just one debate an ongoing one with not just governments talking the hole population world wide with a say in it but this will not be as we are sheep

The video in question, will be viewed with some suspicion as it was comissioned by the BBC as part of the 'conspiracy files' series. However, the section dealing with the reporting of the WTC7 collapse features a revelatory interview between the director of Loose Change and a BBC journalist. I like the piece because it shows two people from polar opposite sides of the debate agreeing for once, which is a very rare thing in the debate. For truth to be evident we need more stuff like that.

I am fully awake. The problem in this debate is that a high number of those on the 'truther' side of the debate discard any mainstream explanations and anything which may suggest that foul play was not a factor. In order to be objective, we must assess ALL sources no matter where they are from and we must be prepared to have our opinions challenged from time to time - that is the nature of research. It is not logical to start with a conclusion and work backwards, rather the opposite is true.

sure it is, hrgiger. It's all resolved... ehmmm hmmm... Right. Whatever you say. Keep enjoying the O'Reilly show. The point is that this is one of Many things that do not add up. Sure, there can be extenuating circumstances for one uncanny incident. But, there are just too many uncanny incidents and "mistakes" to reasonably dismiss the media's story of what exactly transpired. What is the explanation for the number of 19 terrorists involved still alive and living somewhat normal lives?

What indeed? The more we go down the road of endlessly quoting data, the further from the truth we become. It's an irony that intellects capable of processing such massive amounts of information are incapable of common sense. Why destroy 3 buildings when 1 would suffice? Is it feasible to rig a highly dubious insurance scam and hope no-one blows the whistle? Why go to such lengths? These are pretty basic questions but in asking them, I become a conspirator. It's maddening and futile.

i fully believe that 9/11 was an inside job, but it IS possible that she was in a studio standing in front of a greenscreen. the footage coulda been from earlier that day... does the news anchor say that she's live IN NEW YORK? i didnt catch it if he did...

i wasnt questioning weather or not SHE was broadcasting live, i was questioning weather or not the footage in the background was live & if she was even IN new york. my point is: this just seems like TOO big of a misstep by the people who carried out the 9/11 coverup. i would think they'd be smarter than this - to announce something before it happens

You have a valid question, but sadly anything negating conspiracy or anti-Bush sentiment is greeted with cries of 'What a dumbass!' or 'You are brainwashed!'. See also - 'You are part of the Conspiracy!'. This is according those who know the 'truth' (ergo everything is a conspiracy). Logic dictates that not every single tiny detail of 911 can be a conspiracy, but nothing will sway these folks, which it is arguably disturbing in some cases. I try to be objective about it but I'm not popular.

Stonegroove90 is correct. I too was watching this live on BBC. It is not faked or edited. The original recorded tapes went missing after this broadcast on the day and were only found last year apparantly misfiled in the 2007 section??? how???
