These are the summon animations of Shiva, Ifrit, and Ramuh in Final Fantasy VII. This particular version is emulated via ePSXe and Pete's sexy OpenGL plugin. This plugin renders the 3D polygon graphics to a specified resolution. That means the 3D will display very sharp instead of pixelated. It makes the game look so beautiful! yeah, i was having graphic problems with FFVII, EVERYTHING works perfect, except the people / monsters look pixilated, i use P.E.Op.S.Soft Driver 1.18 because any other video plugin i use i cant use the battle menu. any ideas of how to fix the problem please?

The pixelation is supposed to happen because the soft driver does not render 3D to a higher resolution. No other video plugins work? They should. Try downloading video plugins from my website - look in the video's description for the link.

Actually i found some options to get the battle menu on to work. i tried Petes OpenGL and it displays the game like off in a corner of my screen, its odd. and Petes OpenGl2 wont work at all. also on Petes DX6 D3D Driver 1.77 , i use the game fix but the battle swirl STILL wont appear (only on PEOPS)
any suggestions?
sorry for the wall of text but i cant really find a solution anywhere... also, should i post my Specs if itll help?

"It makes the game look so beautiful?!!" While I'll definitely admit that the textures look incredibly nice, the glaring blockiness of the models still makes me want to barf.

ROFL so what, rate the comment down. It doesn't change the fact that the game was made in 1997, and other games around the SAME TIME looked 3X as good as this!! Visionaries, the lotta ya! You have to look at the bigger picture!!

Yea it look boring because of the horrible PS1graphics... these days if something is not HD whit super high texture and animations details it looks boring... =(. they should make FF7 for DS (If they haven't made it yet)
ho and I can't find Any decent ROMS, Iv'e dowloaded PSX (wich seems to be a good emulator) But I can't find a ROM, and are they suposed to be like 4 GB O_O??)

When FF7 was released its graphics were top notch quality that made everyone piss in their pants when they saw it. This video's description has links to places where you can download PSX ISOs (CD-based games aren't called ROMs).

Ok. So I downloaded ePSXe. Downloaded SCPH1001.bin. Put it in the Bios folder. Downloaded the plugins for it that were on your site. I put them in the right folder. I have everything configured and set up like it said in the wizard. Then I downloaded FF7 from EmuParaside. All three disks. (Took for ever. My question is now what? Do I unpack the files and if so where do I put the and how do I do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question. My audio plug-in works for most of my games flawlessly. When I play FF7 or FF8, the sound is decent, but some parts sound weird and not exactly pitched. GFs are a perfect example and they almost sound like cats at times. How do I fix this?
