That's a pretty unique philosophy and I respect but completely disagree with you. I don't believe that public education is a service, I believe its a right. Children should be allowed the right to education - regardless of how much their parents make. And once again, charities are not permanent. If the general public isn't ok losing a few dollars every year in taxes to pay for education, how can you expect them to support a charity that funds the same thing?

von wo hast du denn die 1 million-statistik her???das ist absolut unmöglich,selbst im gigantischsten krieg aller zeiten,nämlich dem 2. weltkrieg hat zum beispiel ein land wie frankreich in dem bis zum umfallen viel zerstört und gekämpft und gemordet wurde "nur" eine halbe million menschen verloren!wie soll der irak dann (wo es lange nicht so heftig zugeht wie in frankreich 40-44) eine million leute verloren haben.tut mir leid aber diese aussage ist pappe und blödsinn!

Sorry du schreibst zu viel, bist aber nicht richtig Informiert und den Irak krieg mit irgendetwas rechtfertigen zu wollen ist schlichtweg nur Krank. Ich glaube dir wird es gefallen, wenn der nächste Staat "Iran", für die Dummheit von Leuten ähnlicher Gesinnung, mit einem Krieg im Namen der Freiheit beschenkt wird. The general public isn't ok with it because it comes as a tax on their house. Elderly people on fixed incomes and childless households are forced to pay or lose their home. Rents are inflated to cover the owner's tax bills, so no self sufficient person escapes the tax.
Instead, it would be more fair to ad a surcharge tax on all children's items sold. Toys, diapers, clothes, the works. Let the ones having the kids be the ones paying for them.

Um dieses Kommentar nun nicht gänzlich als Beleidigung da stehen zu lassen, meine Meinung hierzu:
Ich frage mich, wie groß die chancen sind, dass Ron Paul Präsident wird. Ich würde sagen, sie konvergieren streng monoton gegen null.
zum Krieg: Korrekt. Ein Angriffskrieg, ob er von Hitler geführt wird, oder von Amerika, ist menschenverachtend. Den Irakern wurde damit *nicht* geholfen.

Das erste was das Militär nicht publik machen will sind die Toten, also gibt es sogenannte 'konservative Schätzungen'. Man braucht aber nichts anderes als untertreibungen erwarten, es war schon immer so und bleibt so, sei nicht naiv. 500.000 bis 1 million + ist eine offizielle schätzung die korrekter ist. Ich bin aber recht sicher dass die toten 1 mio schon überschritten haben, nur rennt niemand mit nem notizzettel rum um das aufzuzeichnen, viele sterben ohne das jemand notiz nimmt.
