There were much better songs for Mary to sing in the "6 British songs for Europe" that were put forward in 1970 "can I believe" And "you've everything you need" I honestly think if she had sung one of these the outcome could have been different!
I think the UK should also go back to this format for choosing a song, pick the artiste and invite sonwriters to write for that singer.
Þ A nice song with an even better performance. I agree that while Dana's song was possibly a stronger winner, Mary was the better singer. It would have been very interesting to see the voting that year with the current voting system, to see how tightly the top-3 would battle it out.
Nice song though with a sixties feel apollo moon landings and all that. LOL
i still love this song....i wonder where Mary is now...is she still with us?? - hope so very much! a little welsh gem!!
