You're lucky, you have a lot of drugs. I just got mine pulled and i'm in a lot of pain and i have codiene that i can't take. i wish i was as out of it as you were in the car. I'm not happy at all. You got Valium? Wtf. i want that shit, this is fucking LAME-ASS

You're lucky. I went to have mine out a month ago. They only got the right side 'cause I needed too much numbing stuff. The bottom was impacted so he had to drill my jaw bone. It broke. I ended up with lock-jaw for 2 weeks where I could barely fit the pain pills in my mouth. Was on liquids. Then went to get some packing removed 2 weeks later and he pulled 2 feet of gauze out without numbing, reopening it and back on liquids for another 5 days. Most painful experience of my life.

I got mine out yesterday......I was laying in the chair and got the laughing gas....i closed my eyes and opened them and that was it. But the day after i tried chewing some soft food and now im in pain!!! i got pain killers though.

Just had 2 wisdom teeth taken out today they didn't put me to sleep when they did it they gave me needles and froze it taking mine out was risky because one of them was too close to the nerve (on the left side of my mouth) it was causing me pain the wisdom tooth was pressing against my the tooth in front of I accepted the risk and told her to pull it out.
All together took about 3 hours and it costed me a bundle $560 including the x-rays and panorax and $5 for the cd.
Ouch!

It eases up over time. I can open my jaw all the way again now with very little pain if any. It just takes time. Try not to force it open as it only causes pain. It's frustrating as hell when you can't talk, but soon it'll just be a memory. Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

I was put knocked out for the surgery with anesthesia, when I came to after the surgery, I bolted out of the chair and made a bee line for the door and told my mom "I'm ready to go," and the nurses were chasing after me lol, when I got home I was irate as a mofo, that anesthesia can have some strong effects, also vicodin didn't do anything for me, so I ended up selling it off

i got mine out today. nothing compared to having kidney stones but still very uncomfortable. i have the cloths in to stop bleeding which are a pita & a ice pak on my cheek that i switch back & forth every 15 mins or so & change the clothe every 30 ins or so right now until bleeding stops. my lips are numb & im a bit sleepy. no pain yet & i just took some pain meds a couple mins ago. it was expensive to do that is what im most pee'd off about but what can ya do right? lifes a bitch =]
