"Nissan today announced that its GT-R supercar achieved a lap time at the infamous Nurburgring in Germany of seven minutes and 29 seconds. Recorded on April 16 and 17, the GT-R used was a base specification car and fitted with the standard Japanese market tires. Driven by GT-R chief test driver Tochio Suzuki, this latest lap time beats the previous fastest time for the GT-R by nine seconds" Nissan Europe News Bureau. This is for the normal GT-R not even the spec-v!!!

I think it looks fantastic. If people were looking for a radical departure from Nissans' design philosophy then I can c y they may be disappointed. But look at the Eurotrash. How radically different is the 911 since inception? Do the Diablo and Murcielago and Gallardo look radically different from each other? No. just variations on the same "wedge" theme. How about Ferrari? F40, F50, Enzo. Nothing super radical there. But it's Nissan so it's ugly and uninspired. Rubbish.

the gtr35 does not need to be called a "super car" because it does super fast on the track/road...mike say what you want on your mind...in reality gtr35 has super records...it can super pass your american/"super" cars...

Mr. Angry's opinion on looks over performance is shared by quite alot of people... But what is funny is that it is subjective, and like all subjective opinions, it can sway one way or another. People will say the GTR is ugly, and other people will say it looks really good... At least they both agree that it is FAST AS HELL.

Since both just kind of gave opinions about the elements of style in the designs of the GTR and BMW 135i and not really much about any other aspect of the cars ,I decided to cut the video off at 6:40. I was interested in hearing something great about each car, not ragging on the design team. Just opinionated crap. I have decided to never watch another Garage 419 video again because I thought I could get an educated opinion.

Have either of you even driven a R35 GT-R, or even been for a ride in one? If not, how can you say it doesn't have soul? Not saying I have driven one, because I haven't, but I have gotten a ride in the first one in WI.

first time i've seen this show! definately eager to tune in for more future episodes. ...i'm looking forward to testdriving a 135, and if it is in fate's cards, i'd love to redesign it and bring back a leaner, more taunt looking front fascia as well. i fully agree about it's looks, sorta looks like it's too happy to take seriously. definately a successor to the e36 m3, what the e46 should have been.
