Every show, every comedian, every person's jokes are all rip offs of something. Who cares? I don't even really like Mencia, but if they are funny, then there is no problem ripping tiny things off and making them your own. It is completely fine because everything has been done. "Simpsons DID IT!"- South Park. This show ripped off Souht Park then, who ripped off someone else, who ripped off someone else. :D

my friend, you are not a comedian, so you are not expected to agree that joke stealing is wrong. however, as an aspiring comic, i have to agree with rogan because i understand the struggle comics have to make original material. the "simpsons did it!" thing you mentioned refers to situations being reused on accident. that's different from blatently stealing an idea. i don't want you to agree with me, but you do have to understand why comics are touchy about things like this.
