I agree with you man, this is the best ending in my opinion.. the 1st one is like a sad little one, and the "perfect" one is like an explanation of how Tidus came back, and this middle one is like the "happily ever after" story. FF is the best rpg series ever!

throughout all of ff 10-2 i had a bad case of SquareSoft-esquse plot confusion. although the the whole thing between wakka, chappu, and lulu was cleared up pretty well

the other ending is just a normal ending.. which happens when you dont do any of the required tasks to get tidus back.. you just save spira from vegnagun.. thats all. XD

Wow, this seriously made me rage out. What the hell was the point of FFX then?? The whole point of the ending was to show Tidus going away for good, because he was a dream...nothing more than a dream of the Fayth. And since all the Fayth are gone, and have no need to dream, why should he return? (yes I have seen the other ending where he thinks the Fayth "gathered his thoughts")Tidus deserved to stay gone because all he was is a dream of a thousand year old dead piece of stone that doesn't exist

This ending makes sense because the beginning of this scene was at the beginning of the ending of the Final Fantasy X ending scene (if that makes sense). So I think the consistency of that fact makes this ending make sense.
