The Irish wrote first formalised rules for it...the British very slightly different where its regulated under the NRA (national Rounders association)

can we stop trashing baseball as a brit im going to have to say that i prefer baseball to cricket although american football is idiotic given that its just an excuse for fat men to where tight pants and jump on each other. and as for diving in football(soccer) its primarily done by southern europeans and players with overinflate degos. as such you never find it in the lower english leagues. nut you find it a lot in italy(full of cheaters , look ajuve) spain, france and portugal.
