The beautiful ,talanted, legendary founding father of new wave known to us as Mr Benjamin Orr! Benjamin Orzechowski hailed from Parma, Ohio known as Benny Elevenletters (in the 60's) legendary in his home town before teaming later to become what band was known as THE CARS. Benjamin lost his battle with pancreatic cancer October 3rd of 2000. Missed by family and friends as well as his fans this takes a small rather brief journey through Benjamins musical cereer. For the hard core Benjamin Orr fans I am proud to announce that I am working with Joe Milliken the Biography in the making of Benjamin Orr's Musical Legacy. This will be the most accurate and truthful reading on Orr's musical legacy nearly expanding 40 years! Benjamin....you were just what we needed.

The name of the second song is called "Take Me Now". You can find this song on the "Just What I needed: The Cars Anthology" double CD.
I think Take Me Now is a probably one of the greatest showcases of Benn's voice I've ever heard. One of my favorite songs -- it should have been released. That's It is another great one showcasing Benn's voice.

Ben was/is such a great influence to me -- both now and over the years -- and my new album will contain the song 'Ben Orr' as my ultimate hommage to his beauty, both inside and out.
I look forward to more postings, and welcome feedback from other dear fans of our Benjamin Orr! :-)
