guys, what are you comparing!?!?!?! it's a normally aspired engine of the bmw, against a TWIN turbo of the porshe it isn't fare..... with a twin turbo on the M6, the porshe would lose....A LOT!!!!!!!!with the turbos, the porshe has almost always his maximum torq,and a normal engine (like that of the bmw) has it only in a little range of its rpm. there is NO place for comparing!!!!!!! BMW THE BEST!!!!!!!

Seriously speaking, you must be retarded...no joke. Yes the Turbo has a Twin Turbo engine, but look at the specs. The M6 has a 500hp engine while the Porsche has a 480 hp engine. You are right in one area where you say that the M6 would be FASTER if it had twin turbos, but if you put twin turbos and match it against a porsche, I would see what a porsche with a V10 would do against your beloved M6. Twin turbo V10 in both and the porsche would still beat it. GG....you fucking suck at arguing

guys guys, its not all about HORSEPOWER, its all ABOUT WHEEL Horsepower. AND FOR HOW LONG THAT HORSEPOWER IS DELIVERED TO DURING THE RANGE OF THE GEAR (rpm guage). some cars have peak horsepower throughout the whole gear range. cmon guysssssss

You obviously have never owned a Porsche. I used to own an e46 m3 and it was a pile of shit (worst reliability). I now own a 996 911 and it kills the m3 in every aspect. MPGs, Reliability, cornering, braking, acceleration, build quality.

BMW and Porsche are both good, stop hating on either of em. They both are Euro Cars, Euro cars are good. But I prefer JDM Cars more because they are better to mod, but I like BMW/Porsche/Audi/Ferrari/Lamborghini/Mercedes-Benz/ and ETC.. If I was going to leave them stock.

A BMW designed V10 must be a thrill to experience. Forced-induction engines are really cool because of that unique rush of power they deliver in the sweet spot rpm range, but NA engines always seem a bit meatier, for lack of a better term.
And to the sycophantic clown a few posts below me: "normally aspirated" and "naturally aspirated" are actually both legitimate and interchangeable terms.
