after reading dozens of comments on dozens of videos by BOC I was able to identify that its somehow nostalgic music I wonder if maybe the frequency activates some part of the brain that stores and replays memories? if anyone finds some evidence to verify this phenomena please let us know.

I can relate with what you just said....I have been experiencing cognitive enrichment thanks to Boards of Canada...their lucid soundscapes have such resonance that I become inspired everyday by their melodies...they inspire me to make surreal films and music videos...I just love them so very much.

Unpackaged food, kitchen tables, grass between your toes. Life was still somewhat slow and rumbled along at the pace of an old wood sided station wagon. Even the cars spoke a different language in their mechanical rumbling. Life was chartreuse and yellow, and hand sewn.

It was a time when people innocently said things that got others upset. Now they've heard all the stories, seen all the benefits of being quiet, satisfied...even when they do say something controversial today there can't help but be a little purpose instead of innocence behind their words. It's a heavy-handed age today.

dude thats creepy me too although they can be either happy or sad dependent on the individuallike i use to have fun as a kid which makes me happy but i live on my own now and its hard to associate i feel somewhat forgoten i work pay rent breathe eat listen to this remember the fun and do it all over again in an endless cycle of reality or what we percieve as reality sorry if i dont make sense sometimes i can be deep

Man this boards of canada are awsome i usually like death metal and that kind of stuf but this is like a whole new level its so peaceful i feel so uplifted when im listening to this its wierd i get strange feelings inside, amazing stuff!!!!
