regardless of who is better, what matters to most people is what is more entertaining. kaki is more entertaining than ralph towner, to me. i don't even play guitar and i can tell you that. look at green day - really simple stuff, but it is entertaining. stop trying to be a know-it-all and just enjoy the music. if you don't like it, don't comment. you just make yourself look stupid.
and just so you know i grew up in a musical family, so don't even try to call me uneducated.

its not a competition,and trust me a beginner cant play that in 3 weeks. if soo their either really in to it,want it and enjoys it

I've been playing guitar for over 10 years now. Kaki seems to find a middle ground between the right hand technique of Hedges and the left hand technique of Bensusan to me. While I consider that Mason Williams and Don Ross to have achieved a level of skill beyond Kaki's, what Kaki plays is still nothing to jeer at.

Right on, it's not a competition. Skill merely provides the means to musically express everything you want to. The feeling and meaning behind the song is more important than just the sheer, raw difficulty of the piece.

i really don't understand all the hate... what impresses people is her other songs that employ more of her right hand in tapping. Seriously, you haters never heard of bari improve?! It was in august rush as the first thing he played on guitar in the film! The next song in the park was michael hedges song ritual dance... these were picked for a reason, they are very creative and innovative pieces of music, which fits the theme of the film. People can be so ignorant when it comes to guitar...
