This is A souvenir film called "The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World" It is A Super 8mm sound color vintage souvenir film. This is Ver. 1 It shows us the sights and sounds of the WDW Disneyland in Florida. This was made sometime in the early to mid 1970s. I bought this film on E-bay in Aug. 2007.

WOW! Thanks so much for posting this. Does anyone know what the hot air balloon was all about near the end during the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks? Also, did they originally have more to the Pirates attraction at WDW? Because I noticed the skeletons from DL's Pirates in the film. This is great. Glad you found this!

I love it. But with the Disney budget, I thought they would have spent a little money on the music soundtrack. They have so much stock music in the can already! But thanks for posting it. It was great. And where did you find the projector?!?

I got this projector off E-bay about 2 or 3 years ago, but I own 4 or 5 Super 8mm projectors and 3 16mm projectors. I collect movie films in super 8mm and 16mm. You can find lots of them on the internet, mostly E-bay.

What what an awesome video. Thanks for posting this... This is how I remember WDW as a kid. I miss the Country Bear Jamboree, the Mickey Mouse Revue, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and If You Had Wings.

I love how the Pirates of the Caribbean footage is from DISNEYLAND!
How did you transfer this from the film to a video file? A couple of months ago I found a copy of this film that we bought in 1974 and (gasp!) which we never screened...I'd love to have it turned into a DVD.

Oh I wish I could go to Disney World again, at the prices my parents paid in the 70s. Yeah my parents and I went to Disney World in March of 1978, I got in free because I was 2, and my parents got discount tickets for only $7.50 each. Yes in the 1970s you could get into Disney World for less than $10, unbelievible!
