Reminds me of walking home on a Friday night, just walking by groups of drunks.
Bt it mainly reminds me of when I was younger. Me and my family used to drive from Scotland to Manchester, to go to the airport because flights were cheaper there. So coming home from the airport, driving in the dark, my dad would always play this song, and I remember always falling asleep in the back of the car to it, every year.

i was in local record shop and guy says step aside david grey is coming in to give a demo and hand out flyers, ok , who the fuck is he jim, so i stood and listened to him play ,only did not no how big he would become, that was few yrs before he made it big styles. great memory you cant buy!

It seems to be about the dead-end, binge-drinking, materialistic, angry, insecure, macho, egocentric, (etc etc) culture - too much in evidence in Britain nowadays - that the author/DG dreams of sailing away/escaping from with the woman he loves. See?
Maybe the society portrayed in the film seems alien - and so strange - to you, but it really happens.

I know this may be odd, but I am here because of an singer who has given so much to my life. His name is Jake Walden. I have made some videos from his songs and there are lots more videos on youtube and myspace and such, but I hope you will listen. Watching this video I was reminded of Jake. The music he makes moves me in ways I rarely have found, and after finally seeing him in concert in New York, after crying my eyes out, I knew I had to do whatever I could to spread the word.
