wow.. it was just tonight, after 20 yeras, that I finally learned the words to this song.. LOL when I was a kid I thought it was "YOU GOT TO LIVE AND LEARN, BEFORE YOU BREAK YOUR SPERM" and even though that sounds nasty, I am not trying to be, lol. I just thought they were saying that, and when I was a kid I didn't really know sperm (before the internet was created, no kid knew too much bad shit, unlike these days :D) hahaha

Man, the melodies of this song's hook make my heart melt into a bubbling but otherwise all affectionate mess.
Or maybe it is that pre-adolescent nostagia chiming in. I was in 7th grade in Southeastern Georgia when this song was released, but my social idealism has never since waned.
