I did try the custom EQ (read one of my previous posts here)....the sound output does NOT sound full.....it remains "tinny". Even raising the bass.....the sound is not rich at all.....it only results in distortion. Perhaps Creative will fix this in their new realease?? Who knows. I'll probably buy something else like the Cowon D2 or their iAudio 7 (16 Gigs!! And the sound specifications look impressive).

Crammage...it's not my earphones. I have a good pair of old Sony HD490s and a pair of Shure E2Cs. The sound on the headphones sound great on my mixer (I make music), my PC amp, my iRiver mp3 player, etc. The problem is with the Creative device, it just doesn't offer rich sound, even WITH manual equalization.

I'm a Zen V user myself and very happy with it. But I think you can stick to the PSP it plays music as well I believe :D

I got Creative Zen V Plus 4GB for 39.99 from Wal Mart. It was "As is". It was the display model. I like it a lot and so does everyone I show it to. You can put videos and music on it. I holds approx 1000 songs.

use the psp for wifi and buy a new creative zen (no surname) they go up to 32 gb and are a little bigger than the new ipod nano 3g but have the same size screen as the ipod vide but with 16.7 million colors (instead 0f 65k)

just hope you didn't get a f@#king zen cause they suck. I never drop mine or abused it and it won't charge no more and my pc will only sync with it whenever the POS feels like it. Zen Sucks. Get a Zune, I think. I use my centro anyway. Centros kick ass.

Believe me, the creative zen has way more problems than an ipod, I have a zen v plus and an ipod touch. The screen gets scratched, the zen freezes.. alot and whenever i want to add new music the windows explorer freezes

This item SUCKS!!! I have purchased two of them and have been disappointed at how easily the on/off button breaks!! Buy a ZUNE much better, easier and all around better product...ZENS were returned and the company then sent my replacement to an address in Buffalo, NY when I live in FL!!! Horrible product!
