San Diego Anti-War March and Peace Rally protesting the 5th Anniversary of the Iraq Invasion and Occupation, March 15th, 2008, in Teralta Park, City Heights.
On March 7, 2008, the "V.P. of Blackwater West", Brian Bonfiglio, sent written notification to the San Diego County Department of Land Use, that Blackwater Worldwide is no longer pursuing plans to build a Military and Law Enforcement Training Facility in Potrero, CA. This is a huge victory and a celebration will be held in Potrero next week.
