How to play The Cars "Tonight She Comes" (guitar solo)

Video Description:
In ogni modo, buona visione e buon ascolto!
P.S. Scusate gli occhiali!!!
Elliot Easton is surely one of the most underrated guitarists of all times. He has a very bluesy kind of style, and also very inventive in phrasing, and as a lefthander I appreciate him even more. Here is my attempt to examine the solo to a 1985 track which shows everything I just mentioned about his playing, including some cool tremolo effects. The transcription may not be note-for-note, especially the very last part in which I prefered to go for the general feeling of the final lick.
Anyway...enjoy!
P.S. sorry 'bout the spectacles!

Fantastic work.
:)
I can figure out you are not too techie about guitars, anyway the Floyd Rose is a kind of tremolo bridge invented in the early '80s, whose first user was Eddie Van Halen, and which became very popular among rock guitarists from then on. Elliot's guitar most probably had a Floyd fitted, or at least in the video, he mimes on a Floyd Rose-equipped guitar.
