If you're saying that gay people were abused or some sort of traumatic thing happened to them when they were younger (i.e: molested) then I guess that must include becoming famous, right? I have a SERIOUSLY gay friend (you can't find anyone gayer than him) and he has been in commercials and small movies and several on-stage plays since he was 7. He is rich and has never been abused. Does that make any sense for your theory?

I don't believe that stuff has anything to do with it. In my opinion, as I mentioned, it's outside qualities like more feminine-like features on a guy that make it harder for him to be in touch w/ his masculinity and therefore could lead him to become gay. Why are there so many gay men w/ somewhat feminine-like features? If there's a "gay gene," then there would only be as many of these people in the gay world as there are proportionate to the entire population... but this is not the case....

Why would anybody CHOOSE to live a life (homosexuality)that is significantly harder than being "normal"(heterosexual)? First of all, what is "normal" anyway?Who has the right to define "normal"? Second of all, and no offense, no heterosexual will ever know the pain and torture that the LGBT community endure before, during, and after the coming out process.If they did know, there wouldn't be controversy on whether or not it is a choice, because nobody in their right mind would "choose" that pain.

I still maintain my faith, however, but I do challenge my beliefs and those of my fellow christians everday (especially their stance on this issue). Jesus , after all, didn't accept anything on its face - he constantly questioned the church, its leaders, and his followers. It's a shame that more christians aren't willing to do the same today on issues like creationism and same sex marriage.
