this film could have been so much better, the story and the acting. Kevin Spacey was a great pick but what more could he have done with such a thin script.

I love superman i went in the movie theaters on the first day it came out with a superman costume and a suite over it i expecting one of the best movies of all time but instead i get this piece of crap they call a superman movie they should of had better acting a better story WHEN SUPERMAN DOSNT PICK UP A KRYPTONITE ISLAND I MEAN ITS KRYPTONITE SUPERMANS WEAKNESS AND HE PISKS UP A WHOLE ISLAND NOT JUST A BIG BOLDER BUT AN ISLAND

u sir are a fool. first of all superman isn't jesus (brian singer seems to confuse the two).and even jesus wudn't spy on his x and her family and try to break em up. an trust me warner bros are clever/afraid enuf not to do a direct sequel. instead there doin a reboot. that's how much the movie suked, it was the equivalent to batman and robin.

this movie was awful, he faught a frickin ROCK. Hooray he lifted a giant rock and threw it into space. Routh is a terrible actor and KAte Bosworth should just quit. She has no chemistry what so ever w/ anybody. Overall a .1 outta 10

if would be better if this movie put better villian such as Doomsday, Brainiac, or Darkseid. i'm sick and tired of seeing Lex Luthor as the main villain in every Superman series. they need to put someone new! i think it's reason the movie is not that great!

yea, i did feel that it lacked something, i guess this is just the beginning, perhaps more villains later on in the next sequel, its always like that. Spiderman is a typical example
But overall i didnt mind it, try watching it on an iPod Classic screen LOL xD its pretty good.

Superman i guess was still in love with Lois since the beginning and so he finds it difficult to let go. She obviously moved on and is confused about who she really loves, Superman the father of her child or her new man in her life.

i guess this version is more of a modern type of superman for the newer generations. I guess with a young cast you get more younger viewers that goes to the cinemas. Thats the way life works now. Its not so much about the quality of the movie its the target audiences that the movie is aiming at. Perhaps they failed but still, it makes money and thats it all comes down to nowadays. money money money ;D

I wish i was Superman in real life with exact powers, then i could get any chick i want LOL xD
considering the financial crisis happening globally i wouldn't need a house to live in so no mortgage to pay off as i could probably just sleep in the sky by floating around if i was Superman, no need to buy a car as i fly first class anyways, no need for a TV as i could just see through walls and watch other ppls TVs, no need for a kitchen stove as i have laser from my eyes to cook LOL XD

I think personally they should have started the new Superman from the beggining like they did with Batman. Because you cant replace the orignal Superman with someone eles...
