| Well, that reads like a plug all over for RS, no reason for the alleged employee to submit the 'tips' anonymously. RS is indeed the *last* resort place to go for almost anything: too expensive; that and the electronic parts bin has diminished in size for some time now, hardly worth to visit a store looking for something there... |

| Radio Shack copied high-end electronics from other manufacturers under their Realistic and Optimus brands for years. Then they added 10% over the competition. Walk into a store and three employees pounce on you instantly, but they couldn't tell you Ohm's Law, much less anything more useful. I shop there only if I need a fuse or I don't have time to wait for a delivery from Digi-Key, Mouser, or some other REAL electronics supplier that sells something better than cheap Chinese components. |

| Most of these "tips" sound like a RadioShack promo alright. RS is no longer the "electronics parts place" it used to be 25-35 years ago, not even close. BTW, most "copied" electronics are really manufactured and rebadged for them from companies such as Poineer. |

| How do you expect radio shack employees to know everything about everything in the store. If they did they wouldn't be working for 7 dollars an hr. Truth is most of the time at employment most radio shack sales associates, know about as much as your bagger at kroger. However most radio shack customers either know a lot about a specific item they're looking for or know nothing about anything electronics. Give them a break its just a job. |
