Amin could have been elected also, he enjoyed an astonishing popularity during the first year of his government. What I meant is the way Chavez has lost his mind for the power he believes he has. Both are soldiers, both idiots, both screwed an entire country.

"Could have" but wasn't, he seized power in a military coup. Amin was a tool of british colonialism for some time until he stopped obeying his imperialist masters. Much like the situation between Saddam and the U.S. government. President Hugo Chavez has been elected by more than 65% of the venezuelan electorate in the cleanest elections in this continent; they were supervised by the U.N., Carter Center and the OAS.

There is absolutely no comparison between a brutal dictator, and a democratically elected head of state. Amin killed hundreds thousands of Ugandans, while the venezuelan government under Hugo Chavez has supplied free medical coverage to millions of its citizens. Amins death squads visited remote villages to rape and plunder. Venezuelas "bolivarian missions" have put an end to illiteracy in venezuela.
I suggest you inform yourself better before making absurd comparisons between Amin and Chávez.

yep, he has been elected but he also has closed the supreme court, closed tv stations, insults other countries presidents, and keeps venezuela life standar in a very poor level even though it is the richest one in southamerica.

You should inform yourself about venezuela before making comments. You have no idea what your talking about and it's ridiculous. Chavez has not closed the supreme court, you dont know what youre talking about. And only 1 tv station had its public broadcasting licence revoked becaused they called for the assasination of the president, and civil war. The T.V. station now is on cable, no one in prison.
