"Evolution is the devil" or some BS like that.
But really this game never said that it wanted to mimic life, maybe it can still use the evolution system without implying that evolution happened in this world.
That way why don't offend the society of idiots.
I'd better be careful, I've already offended a few people by saying I wasn't a bible basher today :$ (I found it funny because of this hissy fits)

Its a game get over it.
this game somwhat follows the the theory.
because if the evolution just happend randomly. the game would be no fun,and you would'nt be playing. things would just happen in the games environment. because theres no GUIDANCE.
Spore is not a game it is a sandbox.
Which IMHO it could use a lil more work in some aspects but its a wonderful creation.
This might be a great game, indeed that is my opinion, but it is not and can't be it's goal to be biologically correct. Unicelular organisms do not have spikes, proboscites, eyes, jet and not any of that cool stuff, with 2 or 3 exceptions. Monera and Protozoa fagocite their "food"- they don't have mouths. And how could an eyed organism have not a brain?!!!
I am a biology student and I gave up trying to link Spore to biology when I started playing it.
Evolution isn't random, even though.
How do we know Unicelulrar organisms do not have spikes, maybe that's just on our planet? You cannot look at science on our planet and say those rules are the same for everything else in the universe.
