He receives thousands of hate letters everyday. A gay person normally would feel so bad that he would cry so much that he would end the show. I believe Chris is just sarcastic, I have a friend who is exactly like Chris, none can bring him down because of his ironic humor but he is not gay even though he tells jokes about barfing etc. I don't know of course Chris's sexual orientation, I just don't feel he is gay.
